Meet Luiz Serva
My name is Luiz Serva, CEO & co-founder of Prysma Lending Group. Before Prysma, I studied computer science and business management, which led me to work as IT Director for Entegris, a supplier of advanced materials for the semiconductor industry.
I founded Prysma in 2003 with my wife, Monica – President, with a clear vision to create wealth for the Latino community and other minorities through homeownership, the same way we did for our family.
My wife and I came to this country with very little and could not afford to purchase a home by ourselves. But by purchasing a 3-family home with my brother and father-in-law, we were able to save (by not paying rent) until we could afford a place on our own. As home prices went up, we sold the 3-family for a profit allowing each one of us the resources for a down payment on our single-family home.
